#2 There also will be a giveaway open to those making comments at Pretty Is ...
It will begin Monday, June 6^th and end  when I reach 100 followers (lol) or June 30th 11:59pm. All comments from June 6th through the month of June will  automatically earn an entry. All comments received on Bunday Mondays will equal 2 entries into the drawing!

The Giveaway Prizes will be announced/displayed on Monday 13th ... I'm still working on this!

So ... Welcome to our very first Bunday Monday!  I have loved bunnies since I was a little girl.  Over the years I have collected a variety of them from concrete garden statuary, to collectible plush Bunnies by the Bay (now retired).  Today I am going to share my most prized "bunny" possession.
This is my bunny stroller.  It is an antique reproduction by Midwest of Cannon Falls.  I've owned it since about 1995 ...

My First Pink Saturday with Miss Beverly

"Dance of Love"

I'm very excited for the opportunity to participate in Beverly's Pink Saturday.  It was difficult to choose what I wanted to share today.  I decided on what I call "My French Dancers".   These figures are  not what I've typically collected and I know very little about  them.  This one caught my eye first of all because of the color..... Pink!  Secondly, the size ... it's larger than most I've seen .... 12" tall. The details on it are very nice, the lace stands up and looks like real lace.  Lastly, I think the price was good but what do I know?  I know I liked it!

Fancy Pants!

As this couple twirls around, one really gets a sense of intensity between them. In this I think the artist did a good job.  I am not much of a photographer, however, this was fun to photograph ... when I loaded them and looked at them it almost seemed as if they were dancing!

I am so excited to share this next pattern it is from my personal collection and one of my favorites.

Royal Albert - Prudence

It is by Royal Albert and the pattern is called Prudence (circa 1934).  In addition to my blue pattern Prudence was also made in pink and mint green.  I still hope to get some in pink.

I typically try to get 2 teacups/ saucers and dessert plates when I am collecting a pattern I just love.  With this set I have yet to get the dessert plates but because I love it sooo much I do have the sugar and creamer.  I am still looking for the tea pot, however, they are few and far between and usually out of my price range... but I keep looking!

Pretty Is as Pretty Does Award #1 . . .

Today I bestowed my first "Pretty Is as Pretty Does" Award .... I just had to create it on the spot when observing another blogger who seems to be the embodiment of that sentiment (which my Mother would relate to me very often).

The recipient is Deb at Garage Sale Gal Blog and over the last month I've been in the blog world, I've just noticed a sweetness about her and the way she relates to others.  Her comments are so genuine and caring.  I noticed at every giveaway blog I visited today, she took the time to congratulate the winner and thank the Giver for the opportunity.  If you, by chance, read her blog and all that she had going on you'd see how impressive she is!

Now I need to get to work and create an Award and a gift  for Deb . . .
