Spring Tea Countdown ...

My good friend Lora has two little girls. Alli is 5yrs old and Faith is 3yrs old.
These are "My Girls"...
...aren't they precious and they are just as sweet as they are cute.

Alli is at the perfect age to adore tea parties ... and she does! She recently discovered I used to own a cafe`/tearoom and this led to discussions about tea parties. One evening when I was babysitting the girls we decided it would be great fun for Alli and I to host a tea party for Mommy and Faith... and then we thought Grandma and Nana should also be invited and of course, Alli's good friend Jenna with her sister Sophie and their Mom, Corrie. So now we have a real party and we are excited!! Our tea party will be this coming Friday... the 29th and we want to share it with you!





We found great invitations from Catherine who is from England but resides in Antwerp, Belgium. She has the most adorable Etsy Shop named Bumpkin with fantastic illustrations for all of us young at heart and a darling blog which once I figure out what I am doing, I will provide the link! www.bumpkinbears.blogspot.com

Are these not the cutest little invitations you have ever seen? Catherines art work has such a sweetness to it ... tutu cute! She recently added some art for the upcoming royal wedding. I think they are invites too. Check it out!

I finally got my mantel decorated. I have to be the worse photo taker ever! (I'm hoping for a tripod for my b-day next month). I will post what pics I have until Lora comes and takes some decent pics for me.

Spring Time in the Rockies....Brrrr

Okay ... I have to admit ... I'm a bit envious! As I visit blog after blog all I see are flowers and leaves and GREEN!!! The othe day the temp here was in the 20's and we had snow flurries! Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love Colorado. I am however, sooo anxious to get out into my garden and anyone who has lived here atleast one season should know it is not safe until mid may at the earliest to put plants out. Atleast today is nice and with sunshine ... the temp is in the 60's ...Yea!!!

Well since I can't garden, I have been trying to finally get some items finished and put in my two Etsy shops: PrettyIsToo and HopelessRomanticToo. It has been trial and error. I had to teach myself everything from using the camera to uploading all the info. Several times I lost items I'd paid to list but I finally figured out why and I guess it was a cheap enough lesson!lol!
Above is one of the items I made. This sweet little bluebird was fun to make and came out very fresh and spring like! Alot of what I listed is Easter or very Spring-like! I'm just having fun creating again and have alot of items in process. Well, I have lots to do so I'd best get to it. I'd love to hear from you! L.
