With less than two weeks to go in our Giveaway...there have been a fair amount of entries via comments, however, in the second giveaway there is almost no competion. Here is the bunny I've chosen to share this week:



Bunnies by the Bay - Fussie Tussi on her Fussie Mussie

 This little bunny is just precious - she is #122 of 450 Ltd Edition. She is an 8" tall mohair bunny and of course, as all collectible bunnies by BBB she is retired. Her Tuffet (which is actually a muslin covered oval box) has a little ribbon around the edge which reads: "Fussie Tussie sat on her chair.  Fussie Tussie has very sparse hair.  Along came a spider who sat down beside her and said "My but you need mo-hair"
She is wearing a gorgeous little dress with beading and embroidery, a shaggy plush jacket and matching cap, tulle petticoats and felt bunny slippers.  Bunnies by the Bay is known for their gorgeous detailing.  I truly was sorry to see them discontinue their collectible bunny line.  Thank goodness they have the adorable baby line.  If you are not familiar with this line check out the above link... it is fabulous!

TeaCup Tuesday #3 Royal Albert Petit Point China

Hi there.  Sorry I missed last week.  I wasn't feeling well so basically just did what I HAD to do and rested as much as possible. Missed you all.

The backstamp “Royal Albert Bone China England Petit Point China Reg. No. 778676” indicates that these pieces were manufactured after 1935.

Today I'm sharing a Royal Albert pattern called Petit Point China.  The pattern is a gorgeous rendition of delicate Petit Point embroidery on porcelain, with gold accents at the rim, handle and base.

The patterns shape is called Hampton. This pattern, although a longtime favorite, has been discontinued. It was manufactured from 1932 to December 1997.

I have a dessert service for at least 8. The 2 large handled square plates are actually cake or sandwich plates although I use them as a luncheon plate.

This is a large tea pot ... maybe 6-8 cups

So sorry to be so late with this post.  I did not (could not) sleep last night at all and finally had to take a nap  ... I'm dragging. Now if I can just catch some decent light for photos we'll be set!

As I am reviewing this post,  I have to laugh because I realized alot of the prizes are some of my favorite things ... the portuguese bunny cup and saucer ... I have that dinnerware set.  The chantal carrot bowl I had a set of 3 and used them for Easter "baskets" to give to my kids.  The little bunny rabbit is just like mine except I have the Mama!

The Stone Bunny rabbits are something I have collected for years.  The artist is Telle Stein out of Georgia.  She also makes cats etc.  I love her work.

The Victoria & Albert Musuem Brompton Collection is something I have been collecting for about 18 - 24 months.  I love it... it is so cottage chic and sweet.  Right now I only have a couple of tea pots, cups and saucers and luncheon plates but I am hoping to get some dinner plates as well.

So ... Welcome to our very first Bunday Monday!  I have loved bunnies since I was a little girl.  Over the years I have collected a variety of them from concrete garden statuary, to collectible plush Bunnies by the Bay (now retired).  Today I am going to share my most prized "bunny" possession.
This is my bunny stroller.  It is an antique reproduction by Midwest of Cannon Falls.  I've owned it since about 1995 ...
